This is an informational site: it presents the school and its study-abroad programs and points you to WhatsApp and Instagram. Here, in plain language, is what happens to your data.

## Who the data controller is

The controller of the data processed by this site is GlobalMente Idiomas e Intercâmbios, an online language school and study-abroad agency based in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. For any privacy matter, write to globalmenteintercambios@gmail.com.

## What this site collects

This site has no forms, sign-ups or login area. Browsing it does not require you to provide your name, email, phone number or any other personal data.

We do not use tracking cookies in this version of the site. The hosting provider logs technical access data, such as IP address and browser type, for as long as needed for the security and operation of the service.

## WhatsApp and Instagram

The contact buttons open WhatsApp and Instagram, third-party services with privacy policies of their own. By using them, you also become subject to those platforms’ rules.

What you send on WhatsApp (name, phone number, language of interest, questions about study abroad) is used only to handle your request: to reply, set up a class, send a quote and follow up on enrollment or the trip.

## Legal basis and sharing

We process this data on the basis of contract performance and preliminary steps taken at the data subject’s request (article 7, V, of Brazil’s LGPD) and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in responding to your contact. We do not sell or hand over data to third parties for advertising, and we share it only with those who need it to deliver the contracted service, such as destination schools, airlines and insurers on study-abroad programs.

## Your rights

The LGPD gives you the right to confirm whether we process your data, to access it, correct it, request anonymization or deletion, request portability and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, write to globalmenteintercambios@gmail.com and we will respond as quickly as possible.

## Updates to this policy

This policy applies to the current version of the site and will be revised if we start using forms, analytics cookies or other tools. Last updated: September 2026.
